Our vision

Fruit grows on responsible choices.

We pursue respect for the land and the people in order to give value to the harmony between nature and human beings, always safeguarding the environmental, economical and social sustainability. Plants are living beings in an ecosystem and fruit are not merely products but also food for the table of the consumers.

Graper cultivates and designs ethically following the 4.0 Agriculture megatrends and being in harmony with the environment.

Our values
6 ethical principles

Nowadays working with nature necessarily means to take care of it and protect it pursuing a precise ethical and sustainable vision. To look after our land, we need to listen, contemplate and promote the beauty of nature.

Listen and
observe

When in contact with nature, it is important to listen and observe to understand which are the needs of the field starting from the texture of its soil to the colour of the leaves and also the drought stress. People nowadays are mainly informed by social media and therefore they do not always listen to the voice of skilled people. It is fundamental to adopt strategies to strengthen our own expertise and shed light on the truth.

Pursue
innovation

In the next few years, there are going to be multiple opportunities to invest in going green, particularly through the use of digital technologies. We still cannot predict the impact the digital transition will have on agriculture. Moreover, since the number of specialised workers is going to be fewer and fewer, we will experience an increase in robotisation and foreign workforce. The digital challenge consists in welcoming immediately the new interlocutors with whom to grow up.

Raise kindness and
respect

Nature teaches us to be humble, respect its own time and appreciate what we can touch with our own hands. Every time harmful actions are carried out on nature, the consequences are always destructive. It is therefore fundamental to raise kindness and respect for the environment while always considering that every action is part of a complex environmental, economic and social system.

Table food,
not just products

The world of consumers is paying a great deal of attention to the quality of products even though what quality really means is known only by a few people. To obtain high quality, it is necessary to study the product first, before seeing it as a product, but as food that will be found on our tables. Since the easiest way to perceive quality is through food safety and taste, it is crucial to store the product intact in the post harvest phase.

Plants are part
of an ecosystem

Very often we focus only on theory and consequently plants are merely seen as something to take only advantages from. Truth is that plants are living beings in an ecosystem, which is also alive, that needs to be respected according to its rules and time. Taking into consideration all the elements of an ecosystem means to obtain healthy plants and products with very high organoleptic properties.

Nurture
beauty

The rural world is often regarded as coarse but here at Graper we have a completely different point of view. The concept of beauty and agriculture are not at odds. In view of the growing rural tourism, taking care of the beauty of the fields and the products is a priority to invite more and more people to get to know the charm of the countryside and the agricultural lifestyle. It starts with small, more inclusive measures that really make the difference, such as not spraying the fields on Sundays to allow cyclists to pass through country roads.
